Open Your Heart – Human League

The Human League's second top ten hit peaked at number 6 in 1981.

Thirty years ago this week, Open you heart by the Human League was at its highest position of number 6 for the second of two weeks having entered the top 40 two week previously at number 21. After dropping from its peak the song left the top 10 only to return a week later for one final week. Three more weeks in the lower top 40 followed before the record left the chart.

Open your heart was released on the Virgin record label and was certified silver. It was the third track taken from the Human League's triple platinum-selling album Dare, which was released just after the single and spent four weeks at the top of the UK album chart.
